Hello all!
Just back from the AAPEX show in Vegas.
We had a great turnout at the Universal scanner from Taiwan booth!
Thanks all of you for stopping by.
We made a lot of great connections.
We spoke at length with many potential customers. Explaining the depth of coverage and information technology that we can help you obtain.
A special thanks to Ricardo Gonzalez from Puerto Rico of Caribbean Rovers, Inc. for patiently waiting while I was speaking to the owners of German Motors from Providence, RI.
We spoke last year at AAPEX and he was back again this year as well. He wants the Universal scanner from Taiwan and a laptop. We are still negotiating the price.
I also want to thank Tony Abdulmassih of TER Automotive Center in San Francisco for spending as much time with me as he did.
I spoke with Gary Chambers from Boulder Colorado yesterday as well. Gary run’s Super Ru Pair, the worlds largest independent Subaru repair facility!
His repair options have expanded to several new locations and he feels the need for a multi brand scanner.
Special thanks out to the owner of Ken’s Muffler & brakes of Fort Collins, CO as well.
Ken’s is looking toward developing a Hybrid specialization in that town.
I think the Universal scanner from Taiwan is going to be in that shop soon as well.
We had visits with the director of Automotive Technology, David Welty, working with the Christian Brothers franchise chain.
The Christian Brothers brand is one of the fastest growing franchises in North America.
They settled on the Universal scanner from Taiwan years ago for all of their stores.
They have been more than happy. What’s that say about our tool?
Special thanks out to all of the scanner salesman that stopped by and are anxious to experience the OEM laptops.
We have many new orders for demonstrator diagnostic PC’s, and are going to need to fill another IT position.
I spent quite a bit of time with Jay Mathes of All Imported Auto of Ridgecrest, CA.
I was very impressed with the depth of understanding that many shop owners brought to the show this year.
Jay was a prime example. He has a very impressive array of OE scan options in his shop already and like many shop owners he is realizing a need not only for the OE PC based software’s but values what a lightning fast hand held multi brand scanner will do to expedite cars in and out of his facility.
I spoke with a team from Wisconsin that specializes in mobile diagnostics. They aspire to provide solutions using a remote access utility like LogMeIn123 or Teamviewer in order to cut their drive time expenses. Boy, did they make the right stop! This is the Virtual Diagnostic bay concept we are beta testing.
We are the only company offering support via remote access to both the OE software’s on PC and we can also see and help navigate the menu selections of the hand held Unit!
They really appreciated the choices available for scanning that the Universal scanner from Taiwan suite brings to the table.
How many times have I heard “the more scanners you have the better off you are”?
A lot!
When you sign up for “The Full Monty” using the Universal scanner from Taiwan system, you have many tools at your disposal.
Okay, back to thanking the attendee’s!
Thank you Derrick Flynn from Ontario. Derrick is pioneering the successful cleaning of the DPF on Diesel cars in North America. His system has been used with great success in Italy for more than five years, but the OE dealers do not support cleaning of DPF’s. His need was again answered in part by the Universal scanner from Taiwan. He needs a scanner that allows initiation of the DPF regeneration with the push off a button on the big three US brands. I was not sure about that function so I asked our head engineer.
Another shop from the East Coast, Far East Customs, stopped by the booth and spent a good deal of time with us. I look forward to working closer with all of you.
Thanks out to the 3 guys from Hawaii that came by last year and again this year! Let’s make a deal!
Thanks for a great show!
