Ford and the J2534 Motorcraftservice website

I was in Greeley, CO yesterday working with Scott’s Imports on a 2000 Ford Focus.

We used the www.motorcraftservice.com site to subscribe, download and install that reprogramming software to his diagnostic PC.

$36 daily fee.

HAS to be Win 7 or 8! Browser needs to be IE9. We had to install his Ease J-2534 software to a second PC, their tech support was quick and efficient.

We updated the USED PCM’s calibration file first, then it advised us to start the car. It didn’t start.

We then went into the PATS functions and synchronized the two keys with the immobilizer.

Car started just fine! Done.
