Nine seconds to get here
Reuban,
Thanks for the call.
I have worked with CarQuest to complete a couple of deals.
The Universal scanner from Taiwan is the most capable scan tool in North America today.
The package from Taiwan is like getting three scanners in one deal!
It has good coverage on all brands being imported to North America.
OBD-II generic as well as vehicle specific diagnostics, going deeper into secondary systems or comfort systems.
Powered from the OBD-II, the quickest to fully boot, the Universal scanner from Taiwan gives you an all systems autoscan option on most brands.
Read and clear codes, live data, activation’s, adaptations, and the bluetooth to the PC wireless control for graphing and printing options make this very user friendly.
The OE manufactures have been including all the information in the PC.
Wiring diagrams, TSB’s, Guided Fault finding, and component locators!
So the Universal scanner from Taiwan includes three years of access to updates in the purchase price. TheUniversal scanner from Taiwan is talking to 2013 cars now, at the end of the updates, you will be have coverage on 2016 YM’s!
That is $6K, without a trade in. Ask us about qualified trade ins.
The laptop we recommend is a reconditioned Dell e-5510.
We have done these installs many times on this platform and all is working great.
We install a 1 Terabyte Seagate Semi Solid State HDD and put 12 installs of Windows on it for the most trouble free connectivity.
A fully loaded laptop sells for $4500 and is the best package deal.
We do install less than all lines as per customers requests, these need a separate quote.
